Job Description:
A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director to
provide oversight and direction for a Clinical Management Program
in the Commercial and Medicare Advantage space.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care incorporating
recovery, resiliency, and person-centered services
Oversee utilization review, case management, and care coordination
activities
Provide clinical oversight to staff and maintain the clinical
integrity of the program
Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
Current unrestricted physician license in Michigan or willingness
to obtain
Board certified in Psychiatry
Knowledge of post-acute care planning and case management
Understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and
recovery principles
