Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements

  Duration & Shift:
  
  13 weeks
  Days: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (4x10hr shifts)
  Includes holidays and on-call; possibility for block scheduling
  Compensation:
  
  Bill Rate: $125/hr
  GH: $72 bi-weekly approved
  Required Certifications & Experience:
  
  BLS certification
  First Assist certification
  Plus one of the following: CST certification (if required by Indiana law), surgical technology education (pre-2009), RN license, or Certified Surgical Assistant
  Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  Role Responsibilities:
  
  Act as the primary surgical assistant during cardiovascular surgeries
  Assist with tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, incision closure, and maintain a sterile field
  Anticipate surgeon's needs and assist in room turnover
  Capable of cannulating for bypass initiation and termination, and potentially passing cannulation sutures
  Additional Details:
  
  Average of 85 surgeries per month
  Possibility to float to the Main OR
  4 ORs in the unit; hospital-issued scrubs; EMR: Cerner
