  To provide direct patient care under the scope of Registered Nurse
  
  Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
  EPIC is used as EMR and PYXIS is used for medications
  
  Required skills and minimum years of experience.
  Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Experience
  
  Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
  BLS, IN or compact RN license
  
  Shift or schedule requirements.
  3a to 3p and 3p to 3a
  
  Floating to other units/departments.
  Floating may be required to other Medical Surgical units when necessary.
  
  Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
  20 bed unit
  
  Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
  5:1
  
  Dress Code:
  Caribbean Blue or White Scrubs (tops and bottoms in same color). May wear white or black undershirt and a white or black Parkview approved jacket. Scrub jackets may be worn in the same color as scrub uniform.
  
  Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
  Will attend general orientation, EPIC training, and Jumpstart. Departmental orientation will be 1-2 shifts.
