• Employment Type: Travel Auto offer position Lutheran Hospital-- Travel First Assist CVOR RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 6:30a-5p, 4x10hr, holidays and call required, possibility for block scheduling.-- GH: 72 bi-weekly approved Bill rate: $125/hr Certifications required: --BLS, First Assist certification along with one of the following CST certification if required by the Indiana State law or completion of surgical technology education prior to 2009,-- or RN license, or Certified Surgical Assistant-- Ratio: --Average of 85 surgeries a month RTO blackout dates :--3/31/25-4/10/25 Max RTO: 1 week Scope of role:-- acting as the primary surgical assistant during a cardiovascular surgery, actively helping the surgeon with tasks like tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, and closure of the incision, while maintaining a sterile field and anticipating the surgeon's needs throughout the operation, assisting in room turn over to assist in the flow of surgical cases, must be able to cannulate when going on bypass and coming off bypass, and may need to pass cannulation suture Years of experience required: 2 years Required skills:--must be able to suture as directed by the surgeons, strong cardiac skills Floating: possibility to float to Main OR Number of beds in unit: 4 ORs Dept Scrub color: Hospital issued scrubs EMR: Cerner TRAVELERS SUBMITTED-- MUST-- ATTACH REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS OR WILL BE REJECTED TRAVELERS --MUST --BE--GREATER THAN 50 MILES--FROM FACILITY - LOCAL CANDIDATES NOT ACCEPTED!
