*Job Title:* RN Med Surg*Location: *Fort Wayne, IN 46845*Shift Timing: *Evening 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM*Hours per week:* 36 Hours Per Week*Duration: *13 Weeks of Contract*Responsibilities** *Patient Assessment and Monitoring:* Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay.Monitor vital signs, assess pain levels, and evaluate patient responses to treatments and medications.Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns as necessary.* *Care Planning and Implementation:* Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments, medical diagnoses, and treatment goals.Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing interventions as needed.Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility exercises.* *Patient Education and Support:* Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients coping with illness, pain, or surgical recovery.Provide guidance on post-discharge care and follow-up appointments.* *Collaboration and Communication:* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.Communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, allied health professionals, and support staff.Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and comprehensively in the electronic medical record.* *Quality Improvement and Safety:* Adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines and organizational policies to promote safe, high-quality care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, root cause analyses, and patient safety protocols.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.*Requirenmt** BLS Certificate* RN IN State LicenseJob Type: ContractPay: $48.00 - $52.00 per hourExpected hours: 36 per weekMedical Specialty:* Medical-SurgicalPhysical Setting:* HospitalExperience:* Med Surg: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certificate (Required)Ability to Commute:* Fort Wayne, IN 46845 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Fort Wayne, IN 46845: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
