This is an impactful role for the organization requiring the ability to truly partner with business leaders supporting and driving tactical and critical initiatives. The Sr. HR Manager will translate business, regional and site strategy into HR strategy, plans and solutions. This role will partner with the site to hire, engage, and develop talent to build the capabilities required for short and long-term success.This position will be based onsite daily in Van Wert to support facility operations. Relocation support for this position is available. Applicants must have experience driving HR activities in the US and have authorization to work in the US without support.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.Advise supervisors and managers on application of Company policies to ensure consistency and accurate policy interpretation interdepartmentally.Lead investigations with support division HR, partner with Compliance on investigations they lead.Utilize data and insights to identify opportunities and make recommendations when appropriate.Support cultural transformation changeGuides the leadership team towards practices that lift employee engagement.Coach leaders towards best practice execution of people management responsibilities. And support talent assessment, performance management processes.Participate in Support recruitment efforts, help develop staffing and retention strategiesShifts the HR function from a position of reactive and 'catch up' to proactive and practice leading.Foster employee well-being through engagement and leadership accountability.Help employees to understand what their role is (facilitate onboarding process and support managers in their leadership task).Background & SkillsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills.Bachelors Degree in relevant area of Business, Human Resources, or similar program is required.
