Pediatric Hospitalist opening in Findlay, Ohio _x000D_ - Located in Findlay, OH - 45 minutes to Toledo, OH_x000D x000D_ Position Details _x000D x000D_- Full-time; Permanent_x000D_- We welcome residents, new grads and experienced physicians to consider our Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity_x000D_- Responsible for the Level IIB Special Care Nursery _x000D_- Emergency Department consults, limited outpatient medical consults _x000D_- Newborn care, attendance at high risk deliveries, inpatient pediatric care _x000D_- Average of 1,000 deliveries/year _x000D_- Manage infants born at 32 weeks and above, CPAP, Surfactant and ventilator care _x000D_- Average daily census of 12 (average of 2 pediatric inpatients, 8 well newborns and 4 special care) _x000D_- Six, 24-hour shifts, 6 per 28-day block _x000D_- Hospitalist service admits patients _x000D_- Nationwide Childrens Hospital collaborative partnership _x000D_ - Offers access to pediatric specialists, pediatric research and clinical trials to NW Ohio _x000D_ - BVHS physicians receive advanced education, training, direct consultation with Nationwide Childrens specialists_x000D_- Malpractice, health + life insurance, CME, 401k (4% match) _x000D_- Local administration and decision-making_x000D_- Invested leadership who seek your input_x000D x000D_ About Findlay _x000D x000D_- Downtown Findlay is a blend of beautiful, historical structures bustling with retail shops, restaurants, activities and businesses_x000D_- The Findlay area offers year-round recreation and cultural activities, unique cuisine and a wide range of attractions_x000D_- The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) provides a hub for the performing and visual arts_x000D_- Findlay is home to the University of Findlay, Owens Community College and ,Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
