Job Description:

An opportunity for a Portable X-Ray Technologist is available to perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient homes. This role will also involve supporting patient care, customer service, and training other technologists. Key Responsibilities:

• Transporting to different locations to conduct portable x-rays and EKG exams
• Adhering to company policies and procedures during diagnostic imaging procedures
• Collecting and verifying order documentation and patient information
• Positioning patients for imaging exams and operating portable radiologic equipment
• Ensuring safe work practices and radiation safety
• Processing and transmitting images in a timely manner
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Building positive working relationships and contributing to a positive work environment Requirements:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
