Smith is looking for a 3rd shift Fabricator who is able to work from 9pm - 7am, Sunday through Wednesday nights. A Fabricator plays a vital role in the success of our business; you will work with a team to fabricate countertops using a variety of hand tools, such as routers, sanders, pneumatic staple guns, and hand files.Responsibilities:

• Operating sanders, miter saws, table saw, and routers
• Cutting and assembling countertops to specified sizes
• Cutting and applying build-up
• Banding countertops
• Fabrication of applied edge tops
• Installation of sinks into countertops
• Gluing and laying laminate
• Cutting and finishing backsplashes.
• Applying adhesive and silicone for solid surface tops
• Filing/sanding and cleaning tops for final quality check
• Basic CNC Machine operation
• Cleaning and maintaining work areasThis job description may not include all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and it may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.Requirements of the Role:
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • The ability to stand/walk for a minimum of 9 hours.
  • Must have good vision, color vision, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, climb, kneel, reach, and push.
  • Ability to read, write, follow instructions, perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read prints, a tape measure and operate hand tools.
