Job Description:

As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our client's employees, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will provide training and development programs to educate employees on safety procedures and monitor the effectiveness of safety programs through data analysis and reporting. Work in conjunction with the Safety Manager to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to minimize workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Identify opportunities to reduce injuries and accidents.

Maintain all necessary files and documentation related to injuries and accidents.

Maintain knowledge of all federal, state, and local compliance regulations.

Provide training and development programs to educate employees on safety procedures.

Perform all forklift certifications.

Support the safety manager with the development and implementation of both new as well as existing safety programs.


REQUIREMENTS:

At least one year in a safety (OSHA) manufacturing environment. Bilingual highly preferred.

First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Associates or equivalent work experience.
