Maintenance EngineerLocation: Kalamazoo, MIOur local Kalamazoo client is seeking candidates for direct hire Maintenance Engineer to join their team! We're looking for a self-motivated individual to improve and maintain medical device production systems.Key Responsibilities: - Monitor equipment metrics (uptime, downtime, repair time) and report trends - Ensure equipment compliance with Quality Systems, SOPs, and regulations - Develop, test, and implement system design strategies and improvements - Lead equipment and process optimization effortsQualifications: - BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience (10+ preferred) - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Experience with automation systems (PLCs, sensors, etc.) a plus - preventative maintenance schedules based on machine OEM recommendations - Must be able to work after hours and weekends, as needed, to ensure production equipment is operational during normal business hours. - Experience with form, fill, seal machines, HVAC systems, pneumatic & hydraulic automation systems is a plus - CAD/SolidWorks experience a plusExperience with Medical device manufacturing is a MUSTBenefits: - Medical, dental, vision coverage - Life & disability insurance - Retirement plan with match - Paid time off & holidays - Competitive pay based on experience, with higher compensation for Engineers and a competitive salary for Technicians.Schedule:1st shift- Monday-Friday, with occasional extended hours and weekend workAre you looking for a small, owned family with greater culture and benefits than Apply today!#CDRHL Associated topics: breakdown, calibrate, customer service, equipment, machine maintenance, machine repair, malfunction, mechanical, repair, service technician
