  • Travel First Assist CVOR RN position at Lutheran Hospital
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Days, 6:30a-5p, 4x10hr, holidays and call required, possibility for block scheduling
  • Average of 85 surgeries a month
  • Scope of role: acting as the primary surgical assistant during cardiovascular surgery, assisting with tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, and closure of the incision, while maintaining a sterile field
  • Must be able to cannulate when going on bypass and coming off bypass
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience required
    • Must be able to suture as directed by the surgeons
    • Strong cardiac skills
    • Required skills: must be able to suture as directed by the surgeons
      • Schedule Information
      • RTO blackout dates: 3/31/25-4/10/25
      • Max RTO: 1 week
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Possibility to float to Main OR
          • Additional Details
          • Reason for opening: special, internal vacancy, leave coverage
          • Travelers must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected
          • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility - local candidates not accepted
