Job Description:
A company is looking for a Personnel Security Assistant to
support background security investigations for the U.S. Department
of the Interior.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate and manage background investigations for employees and
contractors
Serve as the primary contact for security offices and assist
employees throughout the investigation process
Ensure compliance with federal policies and maintain accurate
documentation related to security clearances
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in national security, homeland security,
information systems/technology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a security-related role
In-scope, favorably adjudicated National Security Investigation at
the Tier-3 level or higher
Comprehensive knowledge of personnel security regulations and
procedures
Ability to effectively use security-related applications and
systems
